About Ecopolitology
A Local Cabinet Shop for Yakima Homes
Ecopolitology builds custom cabinets for homeowners across Yakima, Washington and the surrounding Yakima County towns. We make framed and frameless kitchen cabinetry, inset and overlay doors, built-in millwork, bathroom vanities, and closet systems, all drawn to fit the exact room and finished in our own shop. From the craftsman kitchens near Nob Hill to newer builds out past 98908, we build cabinets to the wall they will hang on, not to a stock size.
Cabinetry is a trade of small tolerances. A drawer that binds, a door that sits proud, a seam that shows: those are the details that separate a real cabinetmaker from a boxed kit. We build carcasses from 3/4 inch cabinet-grade plywood, cut dovetailed drawer boxes, and hang everything on Blum soft-close hardware, then spray a catalyzed conversion varnish that holds up to the humidity swings a Summitview Avenue kitchen sees through the year.
What Sets Us Apart
- Framed or frameless, built your way. We work in traditional face-frame and full-access 32mm construction, so you pick the look and the interior space.
- Real wood, real joinery. Maple, oak, cherry, walnut, hickory, and alder, with dovetailed drawers and plywood boxes, not particleboard.
- One shop, start to finish. We measure, build, and install your job ourselves, so nothing is lost between a factory and a middleman.
- A written guarantee. We stand behind the joinery, the hardware, and the finish, and a real person answers when you call.
